Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of data governance frameworks and strategies, providing consultancy on major initiatives, and driving the performance of data governance processes. You will work with experts to define critical data elements, design data standards metrics, and manage data asset stewardship. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will ensure alignment with data quality and governance standards while managing complex risks.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, data or technology discipline or equivalent number of years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and subject matter expertise within the data disciplines and domains. Knowledge of standards, data management and IT management regulations, policies.
  • Knowledge and experience with regulated and/or legal environment and requirements (e.g., GxP, data privacy and security)
  • Experience in data ownership or stewardship
  • Experience of SAP, SAP MDG, manufacturing systems and/or planning systems
  • Experience of Data Governance tools such as MDG, RDM and MDM
  • Experience of AI enabled technology delivering good information management
  • Demonstrate communication skills
  • Proven change management, interpersonal, assertiveness and negotiation skills
  • Strong consulting skills
  • Fluency in English

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Experience in life sciences and healthcare.
  • Experience of Data Cataloguing tooling such as Collibra
  • Data Governance and Data Management education and certifications
  • Experience of Business/IT partnering for the implementation of Data Governance-related solutions.
  • Applied data management and data science skills, including experience with related tools.
  • Proven track record of publishing relevant data governance and policy topics in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and other scientific proceedings.
  • Experience of inputting into strategy.
  • Robust working experience in international and intercultural settings
